As a chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., our purpose is to promote excellence in the art of embroidery, which is defined as the embellishment of woven fabric with decorative stitches done with a needle with an eye.

Chapter News:  

Program Info:  The September Day and Night meetings will be on making and using twisted cord presented by Carol Wallin (Day) and Kim Hollifield (Night).  The Georgetown Satellite (meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd) will be doing the Sunflower Nametag.  The Historical Sampler Satellite will have a program by Eileen Bennett.  The Bead Bunch's meeting will be their workshop on Sept. 5-6.  The Wooly Bees will be having a "wool-in".

Hoopla - Throughout 2014 we will meet on every 5th Saturday.  Our next Hoopla will be November 22, 2014.  Location and time will be announced.  Contact Sandy Muir if you'd like to come.
