As a chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., our purpose is to promote excellence in the art of embroidery, which is defined as the embellishment of woven fabric with decorative stitches done with a needle with an eye.

Chapter News:  

Program Info:  The August Day and Night meetings will be a Redwork project presented by Nancy Wallace.  The Georgetown Satellite will be making Cough pillows.  The Historical Sampler Satellite will be continuing their study of samplers from Avril Colby's book.

Hoopla - Throughout 2014 we will meet on every 5th Saturday.  Our next Hoopla will be August 30, 2014.  We will meet at Highland Park Baptist Church from 9am to 2pm.  We will continue working on our Hoop Project by adding the stitched piece to the top/lid.  There are several members not working on the hoop project and are joining us to stitch independently.  Contact Sandy Muir if you'd like to come.
