Welcome! As a chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., our purpose is to promote excellence in the art of embroidery, which is defined as the embellishment of woven fabric with decorative stitches done with a needle with an eye. Chapter News: Note: The January night meeting conflicts with retreat. Attendance will be minimal and the meeting very informal. Sampler Satellite will be meeting on the 2nd Saturday of the month at Millwood Library.(12500 Amherst) map Night Meetings have moved to the Yarborough Library (2200 Hancock) due to renovation at the Northwest Recreation Center. map Update on Biennial show: With the closing of the Northwest Recreation Center for renovation, we have lost our exhibit space and will postpone holding a needlework show until after 2011.
